RENAULT LIVERPOOL STAFF TAKE THE ZIP WIRE PLUNGE FOR CLAIRE HOUSE CHILDREN’S HOSPICE






An intrepid trio from Renault Liverpool braved a 1,000ft zip wire challenge on Saturday for a great cause.

The vertigo-inducing fundraiser was held at the Pier Head in Liverpool and was organised by Claire House Children’s Hospice to raise funds to help with their care of children in the North West.

In a day full of entertainment, there was also a charity duck race with 40,000 plastic competitors, music, refreshments and stalls.

Dave Nichols, Renault and Nissan Liverpool used car sales executive, Nick Price, Renault new car sales manager  and Craig Carney, Nissan sales executive all  undertook the zip wire challenge and raised more than £1,000 in sponsorship by inviting people to sponsor a duck for just £2.
  
The team are passionate supporters of the charity as their colleague Rob Loudon from Renault Wirral, has a seven-year-old daughter who attends the hospice. Nick said: “Plunging down the zip wire was exhilarating and all for an extremely worthwhile cause. We would like to thank friends, family, colleagues and customers for their support and sponsorship.”
