News from Renault WIRRAL

For immediate release: August 31, 2011

Staff from Renault Wirral braved freezing winds at the 35th annual Hoylake Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) open day this bank holiday weekend.
Their presence at the event was to give members of the public the chance to win the Renault Wind Roadster they had brought along for display.
People were invited to enter numbers of their choice into a special safe and see if they could crack the code to win the car, as well as catching a glimpse of the Clio Renaultsport 200, which was also on display.
Nobody managed to guess the winning combination, but people still enjoyed asking questions about the vehicles and finding out more information.
The RNLI is a charity providing a 24-hour lifeboat and rescue service around the coastlines of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
The open day was to give people a chance to see what the charity do and enjoy fairground rides, watch air performances and visit displays such as the one Renault Wirral provided.
Mark Whitaker, General Manager at Renault Wirral said: “It is always a pleasure to be involved in an event like this, as it is to raise awareness of such a worthy cause. The RNLI do so much good work and we were proud to be there to help support them at their open day.
