NEWS FROM EAST BILNEY
For immediate release: Wednesday, 26th October 2011
Three intrepid members of staff from Renault dealer East Bilney are about to get dirty for the annual Mucky Races at Great Witchingham.
Service receptionist Sue Bunting, parts adviser Trevor Arnold and technician Ed Ferguson have put together a team of three from the dealership and are now in training for the challenging obstacle race which takes place on 30th October.
The 10K race takes place at an equestrian centre with over 160 acres of beautiful undulating countryside and has a range of obstacles ranging from hills, freezing water crossings and huge helpings of mud.
Sue said: “The three of us decided to enter the event just as a bit of a challenge and are looking forward to getting very muddy! It’s going to be quite difficult as it’s a 10K event with 30 horse jumps and a long section where you have to run through a freezing bit of river!”
The team at East Bilney are no strangers to sporting endeavour as the team’s colleague, sales manager Marc Huggins, ran the London marathon earlier this year in aid of children’s charity Red Balloon.
