DALES RENAULT SCRUMS DOWN TO SPONSOR VEOR RUGBY CLUB PLAYING SHIRTS!
Veor Rugby Club is motoring ahead in the Tribute Cornwall Rugby League after being kitted out with brand new shirts from main sponsor Dales Renault.
Having finished runners-up last year, the first team is currently leading the league having won 10 of their 11 matches so far this season and recently showcased their new shirts when playing local side Camborne School of Mines who they went on to beat 41-0.
Stuart Hood, president of Veor Rugby Club said: “Having these smart new shirts is a real boost and we’re very grateful to Dales Renault for their support and sponsorship as is makes a huge difference to the players. And so far, it seems to have helped with the results too!
“The team feels that the shirts will aid our performances even more as they’re tight fit shirts which are almost impossible to grab making being tackled even harder for our opponents!”
Simon Peters, director at Dales Renault said: “We were approached by one of the players at Veor Rugby Club who also happens to be a Renault technician in the Dales workshop here at Scorrier! The local sporting scene and our rugby teams are a huge source of pride for the community so we’re pleased to be taking such an active part in supporting the club.”
