Bristol
Dacia dealers City Motors and SJ Cook and Sons will be offering shoppers in
Yate the chance to take the “Dacia Challenge” from Thursday 27th to
Saturday, 29th September.
Visitors
to the stand will be invited to spot the difference in price between ‘fancy
items’ and ‘fantastic value items’ to be in with a chance of winning cinema
tickets as well as being entered into a national draw to win a brand new Dacia
Duster and a luxury trip to Marrakesh to experience having a drive in a Duster
through the desert.
Emma
Cook from City Motors and S J Cook and Sons said: “We want to challenge
customers to make decisions about what is important in a purchase and what is
unnecessary frill. The Dacia Challenge will get people thinking and reveal some
of the key benefits of buying Dacia over some other SUVs, and prove to them it
is great value for money and not a cheap substitute.
“The
game show element to the challenge is also a lot of fun and you could leave the
concerts with more than great memories as we have a number of prizes up for
grabs.”
The
Dacia Challenge consists of four rounds, with four people going through to the
final. Contestants are asked to ‘do the maths’ to work out the savings they
would make on fancy and fantastic value items, which are designed to do the
same job, look similar, but have different price points. The challenge features
a number of items, including a lamp, chair, cushion and Duster SUV, and the
closest savings estimate in the final wins a family cinema ticket.
The
Duster SUV has a starting price of £8,995 for the entry-level model, which
features a 1.6 litre 16-valve engine, generating 110 HP. Duster also comes in a
four-wheel drive and 1.5 dCi diesel version. The Dacia Sandero supermini
has also just been unveiled shortly, and is likely to be the UK’s most
affordable car when it opens for ordering soon.
The ‘shockingly affordable’ Dacia Duster, the flagship SUV
from Dacia, owned by the Renault Group
is available with a price tag of under £9,000, the Duster offers new
owners outstanding value for money.
The Duster SUV right-hand-drive models arrive in the UK at the
beginning of 2013, however, both City Motors and S J Cook and Sons have
reserved a prime space in the showroom for a European
left-hand-drive version so that customers can get acquainted with it.
The Duster SUV is priced from just £8,995, with 4x4 versions
starting from £10,995, several thousand pounds cheaper than comparable models,
and offering a car from two classes above for the same amount of money as a
city car. There will be a wide selection of petrol and diesel engines on offer,
with the entry-level model featuring a 1.6 litre 16-valve engine,
generating 110 HP, with front-wheel drive.
Its muscular design is both rugged and protective, suited to both
off-road and urban driving, and those seeking to add a personal touch to their
new vehicle can choose from an extensive range of style and
protection accessories, including chrome styling bars and wheel-arch
extenders.
A refundable deposit of just £100 will secure a Dacia Duster for
delivery in early 2013.
