RENAULT MANCHESTER LAUNCHES VIDEO SCHEME TO ATTRACT CUSTOMERS ACROSS THE NATION

Renault Manchester is set to increase an already wide customer base thanks to a pilot initiative allowing people to view cars by video link.
The ‘C It Now’ technology enables potential customers across the UK to receive a detailed video from the dealership in Trinity Way showing the car they are thinking of buying.
The groundbreaking scheme went live this month, and means people can find out more about a vehicle without travelling miles to the dealership first.
Jim Schofield, General Manager at Renault Manchester, said: “If a customer is in London for instance, but is interested in a car we have at Renault Manchester then this is perfect for them.
“The C It Now video means they can have a great deal of confidence that the car is being bought from a proper dealership too, as we show the building and showroom in the video, as well as the Renault itself.
“Customers will get to view the car properly, inside and out, and see exactly what they are buying from the comfort of their own home or workplace.
“Everything they need to know will be on the video, so it is as close to them visiting us in person as is possible.”
Depending on its success, the pilot scheme could role out at other Renault Retail Group dealerships once it has been trialled at Manchester.
