SEE THE RENAULT F1 RACE CAR AT WEST QUAY THANKS TO AUTOPLANET

Visitors to the West Quay Shopping Centre will be able to enjoy some window shopping with a difference shortly thanks to Southampton Renault dealer AutoPlanet who will be displaying the Renault Formula 1 Team GP race car!

On Saturday, 19^th and Sunday, 20^th March, the dealership on Second Avenue, Millbrook, will be brining a slice of their showroom to the popular indoor shopping centre including a replica of Renault’s 2010 Formula 1 race car – as driven by Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov.

In addition to the Renault Formula 1 race car, AutoPlanet will also be displaying a selection of models from the Renault road-range such as the Clio which stars in Renault’s new Va Va Voom advertising campaign alongside Thierry Henry and Dita von Teese.

David Scurry, General Manager at AutoPlanet, said: “This really is an opportunity not to be missed! Members of the public have very few chances to get up close to a Formula 1 car so we hope shoppers will take advantage of this rare occasion. They can even have their picture taken with it.

“The weekend will also give visitors the chance to come and view some of the models from the Renault range in a relaxed atmosphere and chat to our friendly staff about arranging a test drive or ordering a new 11 plate Renault.”
