RENAULT CANNOCK TO HOLD MOTABILITY AWARENESS DAY AT MORRISONS

Renault Cannock is holding a special Motability Awareness Day at Morrisons in Mill Street on June 24.

The dealership is holding the event to promote Motability,
a leading car scheme for disabled people, which offers those who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS) a brand new Renault every three years.

With an extensive range of models available through Motability, Renault Cannock will be showcasing the new Renault Scenic Dynamique TomTom outside the Morrisons supermarket in Cannock, from 9am.

Renault Motability specialist Ian Hudson-Innes will be on hand to advise visitors on how cars ordered through the scheme can be adapted to an individual’s requirements.

The adaptations can be a simple hand control and paddle modifications to more specialist conversions for wheelchair applications.

These are carried out by Converters who specialise in converting vehicles for Motability. The majority of the Converters have access to detailed technical information from Renault to assist them in converting the vehicle to high standards.

Those Converters who achieve the highest level of proficiency in their Conversion are awarded the prestigious Renault Accord Produit for their specific conversion.

Ian said: "This is a great opportunity for anybody interested in the Motability scheme to come along and see how these cars can be adapted to suit a disabled person's needs.

"It also gives people the chance to ask me questions about how the programme works and how it could change their life."
