Business people in Darlington have a new face to turn to for help with their fleet requirements at Renault dealer Bristol Street Motors.

Derek Austen has recently been appointed as the site’s Local Business Specialist meaning that he is on hand for businesses and fleet operators in the area to ask for advice on everything from vans, cars, funding and taxation.

Derek has worked in the motor industry for more than 30 years, after starting out in marine engineering. He has eight years of experience of working with businesses in the Teesside and Count y Durham area.

He said: “It’s a real pleasure to deal with local business people. We know they work hard and have different expectations of their local Renault dealership than private customers.  We work hard to understand what a business needs from their fleet, and are working hard on building relationships.

“Networking is an important part of getting out into the local community and I belong to the Quaker Chapter of Business Network International.

“I’m thoroughly enjoying my new role so far and look forward to meeting new and existing customers.”
