One talented Rickmansworth school pupil could see their design on local roads as it adorns the exterior of a Renault UK minibus.

In order to reduce carbon emissions, Renault runs a daily minibus between the firm’s UK headquarters in Maple Cross and the tube station in Rickmansworth.

With a new “61” plate Renault Master Passenger 17-seat minibus now on the road, Renault UK has launched a competition in which local school children are invited to submit their designs for the outside of the bus.

The winning pupil will not only see their creation on the new bus, they will also win £500 worth of sports or IT equipment for their school.

Darren Payne, Director, Fleet and Commercial Vehicle Operations at Renault UK, said: “Renault has been supplying minibuses to schools and colleges for many years so we thought it would be a great idea to give artistic local school pupils the chance to get their designs on the side of a bus!”
