NEWS FROM RENAULT AT DINNAGES, HAYWARDS HEATH

SOUTHWAY SCHOOL GETS INTO TOP GEAR THANKS TO DINNAGES RENAULT!

Pupils at Southway School in Burgess Hill have got into top gear after local car dealership Dinnages Renault and Jupp’s Fish and Chip Shop donated sports kit in assembly this week.

The donation, comprising football shirts, netball gear and general kit, was given to pupils by Dinnages Renault dealer principal Steve King and Martyn Jupp from Jupp’s Fish and Chip Shop.

Steve King said: “We thoroughly enjoyed going back to school and seeing the children’s faces when the kit was handed over. It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to do something useful in the local community.”

Dinah Goss, headteacher at Southway School said: “It’s so important for children to have the opportunity to get involved in team sports, so this new kit is a great incentive for them to get active!

“We are really grateful to both local businesses for this contribution to the local community which is much appreciated by staff and pupils alike.”
