Renault Manchester is holding a “Van Week” at its site on Trinity Way, Salford, for local businesses to get information on Europe’s number one van manufacturer and also to get crime prevention advice.
The week runs from Monday, 9th May to Monday, 16th May, where there will be a large range of commercial vehicles on display so that local businesses can get advice and see first hand some of the vans in the range.
During the week, staff from Renault Manchester will be on hand to demonstrate the ever-popular Renault range, and on the afternoon of Friday, 13th May, there will be a crime prevention officer on site to give safety advice and tips on how to reduce the incidence of theft. Back in March, police officers joined Renault Manchester and helped distribute tamper-proof screws to motorists, free of charge, to help reduce number plate theft.
Vans on display include the Renault Kangoo Van, which is now also available to pre-order in Z.E. (zero emissions) guise later this year. The fully-electric Kangoo Van Z.E. is already a viable option for motorists and fleet operators looking to do their bit for the planey, as well as reduce running costs.
Renault Manchester will also display the practical Renault Trafic and the frugal and spacious Renault Master, as well as Renault’s conversions range, which includes tippers, dropsides, curtainsiders, minibuses, taxis and refrigerated vehicles. Staff will also be able to suggest high-quality and reliable conversions for businesses that need tailor-made solutions, such as horseboxes and racking.
Simon Williams, fleet manager at Renault Manchester, said: “Renault has always had an impressive array of converted vans to meet the needs of every type of business and has now announced the launch of new products to ensure that it’s now easier than ever to purchase a vehicle to meet your exact specifications. This will be a unique opportunity at Renault Manchester to see many of these vans in one place, and we’ll be on hand to offer advice, no matter what the size of your fleet.”
